{"id":80942,"date":"2017-08-15T09:30:12","date_gmt":"2017-08-15T09:30:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/usmalayali.com\/?p=80942"},"modified":"2023-09-14T15:51:25","modified_gmt":"2023-09-14T15:51:25","slug":"gorakhpur-incident-not-first-of-its-kind-amit-shah","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/usmalayali.com\/?p=80942","title":{"rendered":"Gorakhpur incident not first of its kind: Amit Shah."},"content":{"rendered":"<h5><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Johnson Cherian.<\/span><\/h5>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #000000;\">BJP national president Amit Shah has said that incidents similar to the one at a hospital in Gorakhpur of Uttar Pradesh, where over 60 children have died over the last five days due to non-supply of oxygen, have happened before.<\/span><\/h5>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cThe work of the Congress,\u201d he said, \u201cis only to ask for resignations.\u201d<\/span><\/h5>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #000000;\">He was responding to a question whether Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath should resign owning moral responsibility for the incident.<\/span><\/h5>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Addressing a press conference in Bengaluru on Monday, as part of his three-day tour of Karnataka to strengthen the party in the poll-bound State, he said the BJP did not believe in taking action against anybody without first holding an inquiry. \u201cThe Chief Minister has instituted a time-bound inquiry. Once the report is submitted, we will make it public and take action against those responsible.\u201d<\/span><\/h5>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To another question on the alleged insensitivity of the Chief Minister calling for a grand celebration of Krishna Janmashtami, Mr. Shah said everybody was pained by the death of the children.
